The multiple chioce question type provides the participant with a multiple choice selection list to answer the question. This question type has the following options:
- Minimum answers required
- Maximum answers allowed
- Show minimum answers required
- Show maximum answers allowed
- Randomize answer order
- Show "Other" answer (allowing participant to enter their own answer)
Editing the question
Click Edit in the top left corner of the question (Figure 1). From here you can edit the question text as well as the answer options and style. To save your changes, click Save in the top right corner of the question editor. To cancel your changes, click Cancel

Adding an option to the list
Answer options (Figure 2) consist of a code and anoption (which is used as the label). To add an option, click New option set a code and an option and then click Add Remember, to also click Save in the top right corner of the question editor to save your changes.

Removing an option from the list
To remove an answer option, click Delete on the corresponding option in the answer options table (Figure 1). Remember, to also click Save in the top right corner of the question editor to save your changes.
Adding "Other" answer option
To add a free text "Other" answer option, select the
Show "Other" answer option checkbox (Figure 3). From this editor a code and label can be specified as well as optional spell checking. (Figure 4) shows an example of a multiple choice question with an "Other" option using a comment box.
